"小寿三千"(literally "a short lifespan of three thousand") is a phrase originating from ancient Chinese literature, particularly from Taoist and Buddhist cultural traditions. The phrase symbolically conveys the idea of the brevity and preciousness of human life. Although "three thousand" may seem like a long time, in the context of human existence and the vastness of the universe, it represents the fleeting nature of life. The phrase serves as a reminder to cherish and make the most of our limited time on Earth, reflecting on the impermanence of life and the importance of living mindfully and purposefully.
